National Service Scheme Establishment: 1970
To give anextension dimension to the Higher Education System and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in Educational Institutions. To give a chance to the faculty members for extension activities.
To understand the social community in which the student works, to identify the needs and problems of the society, to develop the sense of social and civic responsibility, to utilize the student knowledge in individual practice and find practical solution of the community problems, to practice national integration and social harmony
Personality Development of the Student Youth through community Service
The motto or watchword of the National Service Scheme is ‘NOT ME BUT YOU’.
This reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other person’s point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings.
Award Received by Governor of Gujarat for Best Practices in Thalesemia
4 students participated for the selection of RDC at Gujarat Vidyapeeth ,Ahmedabad ,3 Students were selected for NSS Day Inter-Collegian Competition hosted by Sardar Patel University, 5 students participated in the National Level Competition Youth Day Celebration at NVPASS, 3 students got prizes in Elocution and Drawing Competition, Youth Day Celebration at NVPASS College.
NSS Units Allotted
The College has 4 Units (No of students: 50 in each unit = 200 students in regular activity and 100 students for special camp) allotted by the S. P. University, V. V.Nagar NSS Unit
